You will be working in collaboration with local purchasing and ensuring that the plants are utilised effectively through sound scheduling practices in conjunction with the site demand planners. Alongisde this you'll be leading the management of site inventory with a focus on working capital whilst meeting customer demand.
Your leadership will ensure effective warehouse management alongside efficient distribution, working with in-plant logistics partners where appropriate to ensure finished goods are shipped safely and on time. You'll be building strong relationship with tollers within the APAC region.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• You'll establish inventory management/replenishment strategies to drive improved customer service levels while minimising inventory investment.
• Liaison with APAC Procurement and APAC S&OP to set site supply chain strategy.
• Support in negotiations of APAC site specific RM and indirect contracts.
• Ensure site scheduling meets utilises the plant assets effectively and ensures customer supply in conjunction with S&OP demand planner.
• Manage domestic and export shipments to customers and sister-sites.
Control site COMAH inventory levels.

What do I need to be successful in this role?
• Demonstratable knowledge of logistics operations in the APAC regions, ideally with experience of hazardous chemicals.
• You have the ability to effectively influence, and gain the support of, internal and external contacts and stakeholders at all levels.
• You'll have effective knowledge of Excel at advanced level e.g. advanced formulas, VLOOKUP etc
• You have a sound awareness of the demands of change management and the ability to address and manage conflicting interests.
• At least one year's experience of working in the chemical industry.
Demonstrable experience of Warehouse Management Systems.
