On behalf of an important multinational medical devices\xe2\x80\x99 manufacturer with a leading position in the Critical Care area, we are looking for a:
REGIONAL SALES DIRECTOR
(MEA Area \xe2\x80\x93 Dubai Based)
The Regional Sales Director will design, create, and develop efficient sales strategies for different Countries of the MEA region. He/she will lead a team of Country Managers and will constantly check the main on-site activities and actions in order to be sure the region sales and profitability targets are properly met. Moreover, he/she will monitor the Asia-Pacific area, creating in times a dedicated salesforce and sharing with the Company a clear idea of this region and of its main dynamics.
Main Duties
Create and shape all the main sales and business development strategies and plans to meet the sales targets of the MEA region;
Manage the yearly budget as well as the sales expenses budget;
Interact with the local distributors and propose training and events participation in order to further support their activities;
With his Country Managers team, create some strong and long-lasting relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Key Hospitals of the MEA region;
Provide the Company feedback about market trends, expectations, innovations\xe2\x80\xa6 on a regular basis;
Identify areas for improvement and promote the best sales practice.
Background & Experience
The ideal candidate has got a Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree, preferably in Medical, Economics, or Scientific subjects. He/she has got a previous experience of at least 10 years in similar managerial roles inside complex multinational healthcare environments. Strong familiarity with the Medical Devices industry some great understanding of the Middle East market and of its main dynamics and sales acumen.
He/she should have excellent communication and organizational skills: must be able to set the right priorities and to organize the activities properly. Strong people-oriented management: he/she knows how to lead, inspire, and guide a team of resources and can easily interact with the most important stakeholders in the market. Fluency in English. Arabic is optional but preferable.
