You will be a critical collaborator with our local sales and delivery teams to drive strategic, value-add initiatives, ranging across thought leadership development, event management, lead generation, and sales enablement. The successful candidate will be able to work well in a matrixed organization, connecting and collaborating with stakeholders in various countries and lines of business in the zone. The individual has an entrepreneurial spirit, enjoys gaining a deep understanding of the evolving marketplace, and will also inspire and coach "dotted-line" talent in the region.Key Responsibilities:
APMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East) Zone Oversight: Work closely with Regional Head of Sustainability Business, the global Sustainability Marketing team, and the local commercial teams to develop and implement the MEA plan, with oversight on Asia, AUS, and India.
Strategic Market Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of local market trends and regulations, and how they influence our marketing strategy, leading our sales and marketing teams to provide unique and bespoke localized support across the region. Ability to navigate and balance PR and news dynamics within all broader Schneider divisions and lead with the Sustainability Business story as a part of the main narrative will be important.
Strategic Marketing Approach: deliver a strategically rooted, innovative, customer centric marketing plan to support the annual business plan, leveraging key levers of the marketing mix, with a focus on events, paid media (ie. ABM), PR and thought leadership, in the near term.
Stakeholder Management & Communication: Constant interaction with internal / external stakeholders to ensure prompt alignment, timeliness, communication and flawless execution of all marketing activity - may also include some work with country PR partners. Communicate marketing plan and results to commercial leadership in the region, and cross functional leadership on a quarterly basis.
Sales Enablement: understand client needs and assist in providing our consulting teams with tools they need to build productive dialogues. These tools could include localization of existing slideware, cut sheets, sales scripts, or offer-related training (ie. webinars, videos).
Customer Stories: build and amplify local customer stories, and executive and/or subject-matter-expert speaking engagements within your marketing plan.
Event Strategy and Support: Support and develop local event activity to provide a superior customer experience and meet business and growth objectives. This includes both Schneider Electric owned and third-party events in which we are attendees or exhibitors.
Content Creation: We are a nimble team, working with our experts in a fast-moving market. In this role, working independently or with a third-party agency, you will develop localized content such as blogs, videos, social media ads, presentations. An eye for design and ability to create crisp value propositions to engage and educate our clients and prospects is key.
Budget, Measurement and Insights: Manage the regional marketing budget effectively. Analyze existing data and historical trends in order to understand what is working best and adapt quickly, sharing your learnings with the team.

Essential skills, qualifications
Must have at least a minimum of 8 years of previous executive communications and/or public relations experience
A track record of delivering value and innovation in previous marketing roles
Experience and interest in energy or sustainability industries strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to drive GTM strategies, synthesize complex topics, create compelling value propositions and sales tools. Some mix of writing, design, and/or presentation samples must be provided.
An aptitude for and skillset in graphic design is particularly desirable. These skills will be used to ensure our assets are effective and compelling (including pagination layouts, graphics, slideware, etc) for both internal and external use.
Exposure to event planning, including agenda development, logistics management, and an excitement for creating engaging and educational experiences.
Proficient in Microsoft Office. Advanced PowerPoint skills preferred.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Strong project management skills, with experience using workflow management platforms like Monday.com and Teams
