Job Summary: The Regional HR Specialist will support HR operations across approximately 10 countries, ensuring seamless recruitment, on boarding, and HR administration. This role involves collaborating closely with the HR team to implement HR initiatives, maintain compliance, and foster a positive work environment. Fluency in English and Arabic is essential for effective communication and support across the diverse region.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Hiring:
Assist in the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to candidate selection.
Coordinate and assist with interviews, both in person and remotely.
Conduct reference checks and background verifications.
Employment Documentation:
Help prepare and manage employment contracts and offer letters.
Ensure all new hire documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Maintain and update employee records.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
Expatriate Management:
Handle immigration applications for expatriate employees, working closely with local PROs.
Manage visa renewals and other immigration-related processes on a timely basis.
Ensure compliance with local immigration laws and regulations.
HR Administration:
Support the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation and training coordination.
Assist with regional compliance and regulatory requirements.
Stay up to date on labor laws and regulations to ensure the company is compliant and in the best position with hiring and HR practices.
Advise management on any legal changes that may impact HR policies or practices.
Assist with employee relations and address any HR-related inquiries.
Employee Separation:
Handle administrative responsibilities for separating/departing employees, whether voluntary or involuntary.
Help with the off boarding process, including retrieval of company property and deactivation of system access.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies during the separation process.
General Duties:
Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.
Assist with HR reporting and data analysis.
Support other HR professionals in the global department as needed.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Coordination with PRO on visa/work permit renewals and new applications for new hires.
Skills
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR role, preferably in a regional or multinational environment.
Fluent in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
Understanding of local labor laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
