Interested then why not say Yes I Can! as we are looking for passionate people just like you!Reporting to the Senior Area Director of Sales & Revenue Optimization, the mission of the Regional Director Revenue Optimization is to optimize the revenues of The Club hotels in their dedicated region through the most profitable channels, segments and revenue streams by identifying the appropriate long-term strategies & short/mid-term tactics in accordance with the RHG guidelines, as well as by leading, training and coaching The Club Revenue teams.This includes but is not limited to coaching the Revenue team in their strategies to develop the right business recommendations to optimize the business-mix to maximize the demand in constrained periods and minimizing the distressed inventory in unconstrained periods.Position is based in our Dubai Area Office.Key Responsibilities:1. OPTIMIZING THE REVENUES: Identify incremental revenue opportunities by forecasting properly the demand and drive the organization and the Revenue Managers towards average rate strategies in unconstrained periods and volume strategies in constrained ones through all channels, segments and all revenue streams. Participation in focus hotels quarterly business reviews to ensure the right strategies are developed.2. DRIVING THE CHANGE: As part of the 5YP, building the right environment, inside the Revenue Management Centre perimeter, to drive the organization towards three main Revenue cultural changes: Moving to total revenue management, re-organizing the teams to be more agile and decentralize non-operational activities and last but not least promoting the new era of Business Intelligence!3. DEVELOPMENT OF PORTFOLIO: Support business development and commercial performance team in the expansion of the portfolio by working on revenue projections for future managed and franchised hotels as well as repositioning projects4. GROWING TALENT: Despite the use of technology, human intuition remains key in Revenue Management and in this direction fostering talent, growing them within the organization, listening to them and training them is essential. Recruiting the right talent with potential and coaching the Revenue teams to ensure service excellence from The Club is a crucial part of the positionA successful candidate knows the hotel industry and particularly all the commercial disciplines, has robust revenue management optimization skills, coaching skills and strong attitude to influence the various stakeholders.Requirements:
  • Relevant background suggests Bachelor or Master degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Finance or Statistics
  • 5 years of experience in Revenue Management, Pricing and/or Distribution. Previous experience in Management is a plus.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken. Arabic and French are a plus.
  • Desirable to be experienced in hotel reservation systems, revenue management systems and/or distribution/channel management systems.
  • Excellent managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
  • Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations
  • Strong communication skills
