Minor Hotels is rapidly accelerating its global growth ambitions, aiming to add more than 200 hotels by the end of 2026.Minor Hotels is a proud member of the , the world's largest alliance of independent hotel brands, and participates in the loyalty program.This role is focused on creating, enhancing, maintaining and protecting a high profile and positive public image and reputation for Minor Hotels (MH) and its brands.The person in this role will develop and execute a comprehensive public relations strategy in tandem with the properties within the region, the Global PR team, and the Regional Middle East & Africa (MEA) team to ensure the promotional success of the focus properties.Key duties (including but not limited to):
Establish PR communications plans and budgets for the strategic promotion of MH and brands within the MEA regions.
Drive innovation and business results through creative public relations to ensure MH hotel brands and MEA hotels stand out from the crowd.
Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (institutions, government entities, owners, business partners) required to ensure the delivery of diverse corporate, property level, and brand PR strategies.
Support hotels with compiling annual PR plans for the promotion of properties within the MEA regions and beyond and oversee execution with hotels and ensure results.
Drive the creation and distribution of storytelling (press releases, pitches, captions, or multi-media content) across all brands in the region.
Organise and carry out media calls, events, media fams, and influencer visits to drive awareness of the hotels and brands.
Develop and execute an influencer strategy across the brands and hotels to drive awareness and engagement with the hotels.
Establish and maintain a list of key awards and listings and ensure properties, brands, people or campaigns are entered/nominated/listed.
Manage all relevant PR agencies to ensure the effective execution of strategic direction and the achievement of optimum exposure in the required markets.-
Coach hotel teams to develop key activities on the property that would trigger media interest & drive PR opportunities
Research and apply in-depth knowledge of industry trends and best practices to position corporate and brand direction in an ever-changing business environment and rapidly changing public relations environment.
Monitor and analyze media and PR achievements against the potential achievement and agreed action plans.
Provide monthly reports and updates on public relations activities, and market intelligence including competitor activities and destination events or changes.
Oversee crisis communication for hotels in the MEA region in conjunction with the Global PR team.
Manage Regional Office and MH leadership team profiles and work on Q&As, press releases, and other work as assigned.

Proven digital and social media skills
A sound understanding of MarCom, photography, and video requirements
