DHL Global Forwarding UAE has an opening for a Regional Business Processes and Application Support (BPST) Specialist - MEA where you will manage resolution of software tickets, knowledge ownership and transfer in relation to all BAU Business Applications as well as implement business process quality & improvement plans and processes to identify new and alternative approaches to improve effectiveness and efficiency of business processes in line with overall business strategy and objectives, Group guidelines and policies. In this Regional Business Processes and Application Support (BPST) Specialist - MEA position
• You will provide support for BAU Applications (mainly CW1).
• You will participate in functional support advisory to facilitate the resolution of applications issues.
• You will coordinate and lead piloting and deployment of new systems or enhancements from the business side in close collaboration with BUIT and other functions.
• You will assess training requirements based on process/system changes and user needs.
• You will define and provide training courses to provide targeted, process-oriented training programs.
• You will review and distribute User Releases/Helpful Hints and Training Manuals to Super-/End users where necessary.
• You will coordinate and develop regional CW1 Super Users & Trainers community.
• You will build and manage relationships with both internal and external service providers developing action plans to ensure operational performance and productivity is improved across the operation.
• You will identify and follow up on opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency of all operational processes; integrate into Development Plans and engage employees in improvement activities.
• You will drive a continuous improvement program with key milestones to be assessed periodically to support customer retention and loyalty.
• You will have no direct reports but has indirect responsibilities with Operations, Super Users and Experts at Country level and you must be able to demonstrate ability to influence decisions/actions through provision of value-added inputs into the organization's business processes.
• You will ensure there is an up-to-date annual training matrix / plan covering the identified needs of all individuals in the operation and gain agreement to an appropriate budget that enables the plan to be implemented.
• You will develop a culture where people give and receive feedback in a constructive and productive manner.
Now, here's what we need from you
• DGF employee, familiar with OPS processes and systems
• 2-3 years of experience
• University degree holder
• MEA experience is a plus but not a must but preferable experience working with teams in different countries
• Preferably First Choice Advisor/Senior Advisor or equivalent external Six Sigma/Lean training and experience
• Preferably CCP
• Preferably having soft skills and experience in organizing and leading trainings
