Regional Area Sales Manager

Job Description

Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Regional Area Sales Manager to join their growing team within the Defense & Space sector in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets within your assigned region. You will manage a team of sales representatives, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and play a crucial role in securing new contracts for their clients.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve assigned revenue targets within your designated region.
- Manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Identify and qualify new leads within the defense and space industry.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase the value proposition of our client\'s products and services.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at prime contractors, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Negotiate and close complex sales deals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and forecasts.
- Travel throughout the assigned region to meet with clients and attend industry events (up to 50%).REQUIREMENTSRequirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 5-7 years of proven sales experience in the defense and space industry.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets in a complex B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of the defense and space market dynamics in the Middle East region.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and manage client expectations.
