Job Title: Refrigeration Engineer/Technician

Location: Dubai _UAE

Department: Engineering / Maintenance

Reports To: Plant Manager

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner to prevent disruptions to production.
• Ensure all mechanical work adheres to safety regulations and industry compliance standards
• Document maintenance activities, system performance, and any issues, providing detailed reports as required.
• Assist with the installation, commissioning, and calibration of new mechanical equipment and systems
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and clients
• Stay updated on the latest industry developments and technological advancements
• Develop and implement energy-saving strategies for refrigeration systems
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for projects and maintenance activities
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure proper operation
• Train junior technicians and apprentices on proper procedures and techniques. Education & Experience
• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in industrial refrigeration systems, preferably in cold storage or food processing industries.
• Strong knowledge of ammonia (NH3) and Freon-based refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, PLCs, and SCADA for refrigeration control
• In-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
