Overview:

We are looking for a Refrigeration Technician , someone who will provide efficient and accurate maintenance and repair activities on refrigerant devices/ systems of Carrier customers - aligned with the provided dispatching and EH&S rule set.


Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive maintenances withing the given standard-times and follow the service sales process;
• Perform repairs (troubleshooting) according to the dispatching instructions within the given standard-times and with the usage of remote connectivity;
• Represent Carrier in front of the customers in a friendly and professional manor;
• Willingness to provide 24/7 stand-by duties according to the operational plan;
• Ensure on-time delivery of field reports (job sheets, protocols, ...) with completeness and quality data;
• Cooperating with suppliers and subcontractors;
• Identifying and ordering needed spare parts;
• Ensure a Risk Assessment is conducted and documented prior to all works to be carried out.;
• Work with due care in respect of EHS/ ethical codex for yourself, customers and the general public;
• Keep tools and equipment in good functional condition - keep company vehicle in good/ clean condition;
• Manage Van inventory aligned with finance - perform at least once per year a detailed inventory check;
• Pro-active identify sale opportunities, as well as potential cost risks (full service) and report these to the back-office.


Qualifications:
• Technical Education to self-reliant work on complex refrigeration systems (electrical and mechanical);
• UAE manual driving license is must;
• Technical Knowledge - willingness to gain constantly new technical knowledge according to the demands in the field;
• Good communication/team-player - to customers, as well as to supervisors, dispatchers or colleagues;
• Time Management - any activity must be performed in respect of the given timeframe - persistent, focused on targets/results, flexible, working independently and in teams;
