Job Title: Recruiter
Job Summary: The Recruiter plays a vital role in identifying, attracting, and evaluating candidates for employment. They are responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing to job offers and onboarding. The recruiter collaborates with hiring managers and ensures the company attracts and hires top talent.
Key Responsibilities: Sourcing and Candidate Identification: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and professional networks, to source and identify potential candidates. Develop creative strategies for talent acquisition and proactively build a candidate pipeline.
Screening and Interviewing: Review resumes and applications to evaluate qualifications and fit for specific roles. Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural alignment. Provide feedback to candidates and hiring managers after interviews.
Candidate Assessment: Administer skills assessments, tests, and other pre-employment evaluations as required. Verify candidate references and conduct background checks.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements. Tailor the recruitment strategy to align with the company's goals.
Job Offer and Onboarding: Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate compensation and benefits. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all recruitment activities. Maintain detailed records of candidate interactions and recruitment processes.
Talent Acquisition Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies and best practices. Provide recommendations for improving the recruitment process.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar HR role. Knowledge of recruitment techniques, strategies, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
