We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Reconciliation Officer to join our team. The role of the Reconciliation Officer is to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of financial accounts and transactions. This position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong attention to detail.Responsibilities
Reconcile financial accounts and transactions on a daily basis
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Prepare reports summarizing reconciliations and variances for management review
Collaborate with other teams to gather necessary information for reconciliations
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or a related field
Proven experience in financial reconciliation
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
