Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Services
  • Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, including verifying reservations and processing payments.
  • Provide accurate information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
Reservation Management
  • Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the property management system.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure special requests, such as early check-ins or specific room preferences, are fulfilled.
Administrative Duties
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, room assignments, and billing details.
  • Prepare reports on room occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback for management review.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages professionally and efficiently.
Collaboration and Teamwork
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in coordinating guest arrivals, departures, and transportation arrangements.
Upselling and Revenue Maximization
  • Promote resort amenities, services, and upgrades to enhance guest experiences and drive revenue.
  • Offer personalized recommendations for dining, spa treatments, and activities within the resort.
Compliance and Standards
  • Follow all resort policies, procedures, and brand standards to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or tourism education preferred.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a guest-facing role, ideally in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Proficiency in using property management systems (e.g., Opera)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
