These include: strategy, market assessments, feasibility studies, business planning, portfolio restructuring and management, financial modeling, commercial due diligence and operator search & selection. Our team includes a diverse mix of profiles with people with relevant strategy, investment, and operations experience combined with deep industry expertise. As a Senior Manager within the Real Estate, Hospitality & Leisure team, youll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. As a client advisor, it is expected that the candidate will have excellent communication skills, stakeholder management skills, presentation skills, the ability to conceptualize and translate client needs into tangible solutions and to move easily from big picture thinking to managing relevant detail.Your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:
Overseeing the successful delivery of multiple engagements.
Ownership of business development efforts (both internal and external) through building and leveraging relationships, co-developing propositions and being active in the market.
Management of responding to RFPs, including scope and budget development, pitch preparation and pitch delivery.
Managing the client relationship and other stakeholders.
Using multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
Using data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
Developing a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients.
Managing a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
Working to mentor and train other members of the business unit in order to foster a high performance team environment.
Undertaking development appraisals, financial analysis and working with clients to deliver strategies to support their objectives.
Overseeing the development of real estate financial models for mixed use developments including multiple asset classes and financing structures.
Structuring and ensuring the development of written reports, encompassing the relevant analysis, findings and recommendations.
Managing complex projects while functioning as a trusted advisor at the highest levels of client organizations.
Developing high-impact work plans: prioritizing issues that drive the answer, developing creative ways to prove or disprove hypotheses, estimating time and resourcing required for engagements
Contributing to the wider business unit through knowledge sharing, recruitment, mentoring, training and other activities
Upholding the firms code of ethics and business conduct.
Developing new skills outside of your comfort zone.
Building solid and collaborative relationships with team members and fostering a productive teamwork environment.
Preferred skills:
10+ years of experience in a strategy or consulting firm with experience in Real Estate, Hospitality & Leisure, Real Estate Private Equity, Real Estate Development Funds, or similar environments.
Knowledge of the overall real estate project life cycle from inception to completion (and ideally to operation or pre-opening)
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelors degree from a top-tier university with high scores. Masters degree or an RICS accredited degree is a significant plus
RICS Qualified applicants are preferred, though not essential.
Strong experience in feasibility studies and mixed use developments.
Exceptional analytical, commercial, and problem solving skills that will allow an understanding of the drivers of a business, analyze their data and use this to provide insight and advice to our clients.
Technical skills including: financial modeling, report structuring and presentation.
The ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and produce deliverables of high quality,
Proven experience of coaching team members.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Language Skills: Fluent in English. Arabic is a plus.
The ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East.
