• Provide innovative solutions for the clients and collaborate with other scientists, engineers, and business partners to deliver high quality reports, presentations, and publications.
• Perform literature review, experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation for various analytical chemistry projects.
• Develop and optimize analytical methods and protocols using state-of-the-art instruments and software.
• Validate and verify the accuracy, precision, and robustness of analytical methods and results.
• Prepare and present technical reports, scientific papers, and proposals for internal and external audiences.
• Provide consultation and guidance to clients and stakeholders on analytical chemistry issues and solutions.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in analytical chemistry and related fields.

Lead projects to support research and development efforts, including method development, and method optimization.Responsible for the design planning, and analysis of experimental protocols. Author and review technical documents, including method protocols, validation reports, and SOPs.Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation, ensuring proper functionality and calibration by coordinating with service engineers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of projects and delivery of high-quality data by applying statistical tools.Provide scientific advice to internal and external decision makers within the scope of the analysis.Promote and maintain quality in all services.Ensure continuous quality improvement measures are in place.Follow SOPs and best practices as instructed in the relevant laboratory documents and ensure that SOPs and Quality Assurance tests are maintained.Comply with and support audit processes, reporting on these when directed to do so.Participate in stock control and management of reagents, consumables, standards, etc.Complete and maintain all regulatory requirements, such as licensing and certification, where applicable and within established time frames.Perform other duties related to the work environment as directed by management.Participate in activities aimed at improving the quality of workflows and processes or improving parts of existing protocols.Drive compliance of health and safety in your area of work, as required by M42 values and country laws.Participate in Health and Safety activities.Ensure staff comply with the RASID Health and Safety requirements.Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry related sciences and related discipline with a proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• At least three years of experience in industry or academia as an analytical chemistry or researcher.
• Proficient in using analytical techniques and instruments such as HPLC, GCMS, NMR, IR, UV-Vis, ICPMS, ICPOES, LC-HRMS, and GC-HRMS.
