For more information, click here .Role reports to: AMET Operations DirectorLocation: Dubai, UAETravel %: 10%What you will doThe RAMET IBP lead is responsible for both process/skill and operational aspects of the Demand Planning (IBP) process within the Russia, Africa, Middle East and Turkey cluster.Key Process & Skills Responsibilities:
  • Lead and shape the Plan Transformation action plan for RAMET to improve forecast accuracy and drive up RAMET's adoption of IBP process.
  • Facilitate the standardization of tools, approaches and data across all RAMET regions.
  • Drive up planning skills of AMET planners and facilitate the DP community of practice.
  • Coordinate actions between regional and local teams, pull regional resources where needed.
  • Adapt and develop new approaches & tools to improve planning in RAMET. Drive innovation, digitization and automation.
Key Operational Responsibilities:
  • Montor, challenge and be able to explain the weekly demand submissions.
  • Aggregate the outcomes of root cause analysis and be able to summarize / explain forecast accuracy performance at RAMET level.
  • Facilitate the monthly Exec. S&OP meeting.
  • Ensure alignment between S&OP and finance planning processes.
  • Be the focal point for any demand related queries from RSP.
  • Represent RAMET in the SR meetings.
  • Monitor and understand forecast error, drive self-improvement cycle through root cause analysis.

Reporting to this role:

What we are looking forQualifications
  • University degree in Logistics or Engineering. MBA or business qualification is a plus. Certification from accredited organizations is a plus (ie. APICS, IBF).
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in operational or strategic Supply Chain roles required within relevant, comparable companies that have large, complex (matrix) organizations.
  • Experience in FMCG industry and in in leading / implementing the IBP process.
  • Understanding of the entire value chain and its primary activities and an excellent knowledge of the main elements, dynamics, and drivers in the supply forecasting and planning processes.
  • Experience and a clear understanding of the market environment with a focus on the various logistics & commercial operating models that are in use in RAMET.
  • Ability in identifying, developing and executing process improvement initiatives. This includes project and program management skills. Continuous improvement mindset with track record of leading change projects.
  • Well-developed business management capability, and a keen understanding of the business equation and how business and supply chain decisions impact financials (P&L, Balance Sheet).
  • Strong leadership and influence skills, able to bring vision to a group and cross departments by showing a strong customer centric mindset.
  • Capable of operating within matrix organizations, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate large amounts of information leading to sound conclusions for effective decision making.
  • A positive minded team player and a change agent, great cross-functional collaborator.
  • Excellent communicator in English, able to summarize well complex issues and use the right detail of data to support decision making.
  • A dynamic and self-driven personality, willing to go the extra mile even in periods of high workload.
