OverviewFacility overview:M42 in partnering with the UAE Ministry of Defence to operate Zayed Military Hospital in Al Batayeh, Sharjah. This collaboration will provide world-class healthcare to over three million residents in the northern UAE, including military personnel and their families. By integrating top healthcare providers like the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, and Healthpoint, M42 will ensure access to specialized and preventative care. Full-scale operations are set to launch in early 2025.Role overview: The role involves performing radiography procedures, such as chest X-rays, in accordance with DOH/FANR guidelines and protocols. It includes overseeing and managing departmental equipment to produce high-quality images while adhering to the ALARA principle. Additionally, the individual must comply with company policies and follow the designated workflow to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.Responsibilities
Ensures the room is clean and tidy while completing the equipment checklist.
Adheres to visa screening requirements and maintains competency in radiation safety.
Monitors radiographic equipment and RIS/PACS operations, reporting any issues to the line manager immediately.
Reports any X-ray machine malfunctions to the Bio-Medical department for maintenance or replacement.
Completes necessary radiographic examinations in PACS/RIS, ensuring accurate capture of patient images.
Prepares patients for procedures by assessing their needs and ensuring safety in accordance with FANR/DOH guidelines.
Qualifications
Diploma in Radiology/or Medical/Diagnostic Imaging program with an active DOH license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiology and knowledge of radiographic procedures and current best practices.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with a focus on continuous professional development.
