Radiologic Technologist Doctor (part Time)

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Radiologic Technologist Doctor with a medical degree to perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will combine clinical expertise with advanced radiologic technology skills to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnostic Imaging: Perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound, as required.
• Image Interpretation: Analyze and interpret imaging results to provide accurate diagnostic information and collaborate with referring physicians.
• Patient Care: Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures, provide clear explanations of procedures, and address patient concerns.
• Consultation: Offer expert consultation and recommendations based on imaging findings, and discuss results with patients and healthcare providers.
• Quality Control: Ensure the quality of imaging procedures and results by following established protocols and maintaining equipment.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient information, imaging results, and clinical notes in the electronic health record system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other medical professionals to develop and implement patient care plans and provide integrated healthcare solutions.
• Research and Education: Participate in research projects, continuing education, and training to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and medical practice.

Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), or equivalent, with specialized training in Radiology.
• Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Radiology, and valid state medical license.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology, with expertise in specific imaging modalities or subspecialties.
• Skills: Proficiency in advanced imaging technologies and techniques, strong analytical and diagnostic skills, and excellent communication abilities.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with radiology information systems (RIS), picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), and electronic health records (EHR).

Additional Information:

This position may involve rotating shifts,
including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
