Job Description

Specific:

3.1.1 Responsible for compliance of radiation protection program and the requirements of radiation protection license.

3.1.2 Ensure that the personnel are trained appropriately and that departmental activities are in compliance with local and FANR regulations.

3.1.3 Ensure the radiation protection program is appropriate to minimize the risks associated with using the X Ray and will ensure compliance with the regulations of FANR related to X Ray.

3.1.4 Ensure use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the radiology workers and bystanders (if applicable)

3.1.5 Maintain dosimeter records for authorized users.

3.1.6 Ensure entry of only authorized persons in "controlled area".

3.1.7 Maintain manufacturer provided instruction manuals, operations and maintenance records.

3.1.8 Be familiar with emergency procedures, unintended or accidental exposure, know how to stop unsafe procedures and to prepare incident report

General:

3.1 Knowledge of basic patient care and activities that may be necessary during exam.

3.2 Attends to work and on-call schedules on time and performs duties completely before ending the shift.

3.3 Attends to scheduled or unscheduled meetings to discuss and resolve problems.

3.4 Performs other duties necessary to effect efficient services in the department without hesitation.

3.5 Collectively responsible for maintenance of internal records, compilation, preservation as per hospital rule.

3.6 Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time.

3.7 Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) applicable to the department.

3.8 Maintain/hold confidential information received from the superiors in strict confidence and shall not disclose or divulge directly or indirectly to others unless authorized by management to do so.

3.9 Maintain punctuality in duty and follow all hospital policies and procedures including attendance punching, leave rules etc, as well as laws of the country

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
