Job Description

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor/Estimator (Construction Landscaping)

Experience: 2 - 3 years

Qualification: Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

- Takes off the quantities from the drawing.

- Prepares bills of quantities.

- Quantity surveying.

- Works in parallel with draftsmen in calculating the quantities of the finishing materials for projects.

- Proficiency in verbal & written English language.

- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.

- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.

- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

- Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.

- Advising Owner and clients on improvements and new strategies.

- Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.

- Traveling from the office to various sites as required.

- Preparation of PC liaising with concerned PMs and follow up.

Skill Set Needed-

- Min 5 years of experience in similar role

- Knowledge of construction Landscaping materials (Hard landscaping, Irrigation etc).

- Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

- Sound knowledge of construction.

- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
