:Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading structure steel company in Sharjah, UAE. Our client is looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator who will be responsible for the daily execution of the tendering process, reviews and analysis of company risks associated with each tender, and accountable for the collation and submission of the tender proposals by client Invitation to Tender (ITT) requirements. Other responsibilities are- Communicates with departments to ensure complete documentation, prepares draft tender documents, and follows company tendering processes.- Prepares construction budgets, evaluates offers, obtains bids from vendors/subcontractors, and maintains cost records.- Reviews system drawings, assesses design changes and ensures project output meets codes and specifications.- Prepares Bill of Quantities (BOQ), liaises with teams to ensure accuracy, and participates in contract preparation and claim settlements.- Monitors contractor resource allocation, audits payments, and prepares financial statements for monthly reports.- Prepares variation orders, evaluates contractor claims, and provides contractual and financial advice.- Maintains quality service, streamlines cost and quantity records, and ensures compliance with organizational standards.- Conducts site visits, attends pre-bid meetings, and participates in commercial/estimation presentations with clients.Requirements- Must possess a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, or a Diploma in a related field.- Should have 5 to 10 years of experience in executing steel construction projects.- Must have exposure to steel fabrication and erection works.- Proficient in negotiation, presentation, and execution of tasks.BenefitsAttractive Salary + Benefits
