QS / Estimator - HVAC Contractor (Projects)

Position Overview:

You will be responsible for accurately preparing cost estimates for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) projects. This role involves analyzing project specifications, drawings, and other technical documents to calculate material, labor, and equipment costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project documents (plans, specifications, etc.) to determine HVAC system requirements. Calculate accurate material, labor, and equipment costs for HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects. Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and mechanical components. Conduct on-site evaluations to assess project conditions and verify the scope of work. Evaluate existing HVAC systems during site visits to determine required upgrades or replacements. Prepare and submit quotation for HVAC projects in compliance with client requirements and timelines. Provide detailed breakdowns of estimated costs and scope of work for clients, ensuring transparency and clarity. Preparing all required variation, cost estimates Assist in the preparation of contract documents and negotiations related to HVAC scope. Maintain accurate records of all cost estimates, bids, and contracts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred). Proven experience in HVAC system estimation, project management, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation procedures. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
