Job Description

Project Pricing and Cost Estimation

Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on itemized breakdowns, specialist subcontractor quotations, and current market prices. Conduct feasibility studies to assess the technical and commercial aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with tender specifications, customer queries, and drawings.

Technical Evaluation and Feasibility Studies

Perform thorough feasibility studies to evaluate capacity and resource availability, ensuring project requirements are met.

Accurate Cost Estimation

Develop precise cost estimates for permanent works, presented in both elemental and analytical formats.

Quantification and Measurement

Accurately quantify items required for the scope of work using both hard copy and digital drawings (AutoCAD & PDF).

Tender and Contract Documentation

Prepare tender and contract documents, including detailed bills of quantities.

Vendor Negotiations

Negotiate with vendors to secure the most competitive prices.

Value Engineering

Provide value engineering solutions for specific project items to enhance cost efficiency.

Meeting Attendance

Attend key project meetings both on-site and in the office to stay informed and contribute to project discussions.

Site Visits

Conduct site visits as necessary to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and provide accurate, competitive quotations.

Material Management

Prepare material take-offs for the Comprehensive Material Sheet System using MS Excel.

Documentation and Record Keeping

Develop and maintain clear project files, ensuring they are numbered and organized for future reference and use.

Commercial Risk Management

Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks associated with projects.

Pricing Analysis and Variations Management

Perform pricing analysis and cost breakdowns for project variations and additional works.

Departmental Coordination

Coordinate with all departments to discuss and understand project requirements, representing the Estimation team effectively.

Standards and System Improvement

Work on enhancing existing estimating standards and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Vendor Database Management

Maintain an updated database of vendors, issuing inquiries to subcontractors and suppliers as needed.

Price Comparison and Endorsement

Prepare price comparisons for all received quotations, endorsing the most qualified and cost-effective supplier or subcontractor.

Tender Queries

Prepare and manage queries for tender projects, ensuring all aspects are clarified and addressed.

Tender Price Negotiation

Negotiate tender prices with clients when required to secure favorable project terms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
