Job Description

Introduction: As a Quantity Surveyor specializing in Civil Engineering projects, you will play a crucial role in managing the costs and finances of construction projects. You will work closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed within budgetary constraints and adhere to financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects based on drawings, specifications, and other documentation.
• Assist in developing budgets and cost plans for various stages of the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and control project costs to ensure that expenditures remain within the approved budget.
• Procurement:
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects.
• Evaluate tender submissions and make recommendations regarding the selection of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Contract Administration:
• Prepare and administer contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Manage contract variations and negotiate changes to contractual agreements as required.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, including payments, variations, and claims.
• Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks and opportunities associated with project costs.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare regular reports detailing project financial performance, including cost forecasts, variations, and final accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and contract documents.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on financial matters and resolve any issues that may arise.

Salary AED 8,000/-

Candidate must have UAE experience.
