Job Description

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with commercial furniture experience for our Furniture Department.

Job Responsibilities:

- Work with Design team to develop furniture solutions within given time schedule.

- Analyzing the contract documents, preparation of BOQ's and drawings.

- Prepare visual presentations like drawings, renderings and material sample boards.

- Preparation of tender/ bid, documentation, project costing, joinery and fit out costing, quantitative and qualitative estimation.

- Preparation of cost estimates for budgeting study.

- Client interfacing and participate in client presentations.

- Cost benefits analysis of build-in house v/s subcontract.

- Assist in the process of ordering materials from local or overseas vendors.

- Co-coordinating with subcontractors, negotiating and ensuring to get their cost proposal on time.

- Market enquiries, cost reviewing and analysis

- Filing and maintaining of furniture/material catalogues and finish samples.

- Any other work that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

- Previous experience of 2-4 years in Commercial Furniture in the UAE/Middle East is a must.

- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with attention to details, to deliver high quality work within the given timeline.

- Proficient in MS Office, auto cad , furniture specifications and sound knowledge of contract furniture business.

- Ability to liaise with designers, sub-contractors, supervise furniture installation teams and represent company at client sites.

- Valid UAE driving license preferred.
