•Project Quantity Surveyor•
•The Quantity Surveyor -Post Contract should manage a team of quantity surveyors who will prepare cost estimates for the construction projects to aid management in bidding on or determining price on projects such as items, equipment, machinery & etc. He/ She should be specialized in road and infrastructure construction. Candidate must be based in the United Arab Emirates. A strong negotiatior with proficient technical skills is preferred.•
•Responsibilities:•
• •Collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future products.•
• •Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.•
• •Lead Negotiations for preparation of required RFA's, RFQs, release of payments.•
• •Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.•
• •Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.•
• •Confer with engineers, designers, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.•
• •Manage the process of assessment of cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.•
• •Manage the overall process of team preparing estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.•
• •Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.•
• •Establish and maintain the post contract process and successfully conduct negotiations.•
• •Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.•
• •Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.•
• •Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to reduce cost.•
• •Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.•
• •Visit the site and record information about access, drainage and topography, and availability of utility services.•
•Requirements:•
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying•
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of civil structures.•
•- Superb project analysis and project costing qualifications•
• Highly analytical, conventional, and attentive to detail•
•- Project Analysis and project costing software qualifications•
•- CAAD knowledge•
•- Team Management Skills•
•- Possessing a portfolio of successfully led negotiations and collection of payments•
- English is a must, Arabic , Hindi / Urdu are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
