As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost and financial management of construction projects, from the initial estimate to the final account. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects - Analyze and evaluate project plans to identify potential cost-saving opportunities - Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and variations - Manage project costs and ensure adherence to budget - Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify any cost or schedule issues - Prepare and submit progress reports to clients and stakeholders - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery - Maintain accurate records of all project costs and financial transactions - Provide advice and support to project teams on cost-related matters - Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in construction costs - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field - Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor - Strong knowledge of construction cost management principles and techniques - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficient in using cost estimating software and Microsoft Office - Strong communication and negotiation skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Fluency in English and French is preferred - Experience working in Morocco or the North African region is a plus If you are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for construction cost management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
