Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS) Civil and Building work Experience Required: 10+ years Location: Abu Dhabi Type: Full-time Salary: 6000-9000 AED per month Joining required: Immediately Key Responsibilities: Prepare cost estimates and budgets for civil and building work projects Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of potential projects Evaluate and negotiate prices with contractors and suppliers Monitor project progress and costs, and make adjustments as needed to ensure budget compliance Prepare and submit progress reports to management and clients Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress and quality of work Manage and track all project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment Prepare and review contract documents and change orders Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project success Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations, and make recommendations for cost-saving measures Resolve any issues or disputes related to project costs Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry Strong knowledge of civil and building work processes and procedures Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in using cost estimating software and Microsoft Office Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Willingness to travel to project sites as needed Familiarity with local regulations and building codes in Abu Dhabi is preferred.
