Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong construction background for 2 categories QS- Pre or Post Contract and QS- BIM. The ideal candidate will have expertise in any of pre-contract and post-contract stages or xa working knowledge of BIM modeling. You will play a key role in cost management, contract administration, and ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Contract Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
• Evaluate tender submissions and provide recommendations for contractor selection.
• Conduct cost analysis for project feasibility and provide value engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure cost-effective project planning.

Post-Contract Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets, track costs, and prepare financial reports.
• Assess and certify contractor payments, variations, and claims.
• Conduct cost forecasting and risk analysis to mitigate financial risks.
• Support contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

BIM Modeling Responsibilities:

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and BIM models to extract relevant data for preparation of detailed quantity Takeoff.
• Instance and shared parameters and its effect on quantity data.
• To create Schedules for different elements and to filter the scheduled to calculate areas & volumes .
• Advance Revit techniques to be known for quantifying the different elements.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure the considerations are integrated into the BIM models.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in pre-contract and post-contract stages.
• Hands-on experience with BIM tools such as Revit or Navisworks.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, JCT).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED16,000.00 per month
