Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Jeddah, KSA.

This position will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of the cleaning and waste management projects in Jeddah Governorate. This role involves cost estimation, budget management, and ensuring that project expenditures are controlled and aligned with financial objectives.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all financial elements of the projects are properly accounted for and reported.

We envisage success in this role to include: Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for cleaning and waste management projects. Reviewing and monitoring project costs to ensure that expenditures are within approved budgets. Providing cost control and value engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. Preparing detailed bills of quantities (BOQs) and cost reports for project managers and stakeholders. Evaluating and approving payment certificates, invoices, and change orders from contractors. Conducting site visits to assess project progress and verify work completed against invoices. Assisting in contract negotiation and administration, ensuring compliance with financial terms and conditions. Providing recommendations for cost-saving measures and improvements to financial management processes. Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, or project cost control, preferably in public infrastructure or environmental projects, partnered with a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Furthermore, you should demonstrate: Strong knowledge of construction cost management, financial reporting, and contract administration. Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools (e.g., CostX, Primavera). Certification from a professional body (e.g., RICS, CIQS) is an advantage. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in managing project costs and budgets. Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic. Saudi nationals are strongly encouraged to apply
