Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Management:
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables.
• Measure and value the work done on site.
• Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers, and site engineers.
• Negotiate and analyze costs for tenders and contracts.
• Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
• Contract Management:
• Manage the contractual relationships between various parties involved in the project.
• Ensure contractual notices are issued and received in accordance with contract conditions.
• Advise on contractual claims.
• Procurement:
• Source and procure materials, plant, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and analyze project costings for tenders.
• Allocate work to subcontractors.
• Risk Management:
• Identify, analyze, and develop responses to project risks.
• Provide advice on contractual claims.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare regular cost reports and cost forecasting.
• Monitor project costs and compare them to the budgeted costs.
• Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
• Advisory:
• Advise on a range of legal and contractual issues.
• Provide advice on property taxation.
• Assist in dispute resolution.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, ASPE) is preferred.
• Experience: [Number] years of experience in quantity surveying or a similar role in the construction industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Quantity Surveyor in Fit Out Industry: 4 years (Required)
