Job Role
This position is specifically for professionals experienced in property development within the UK context. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UK planning policies, design philosophy, and construction management practices. You will play a key role in ensuring that all projects are aligned with UK standards for design, compliance, and delivery, contributing to our vision of creating exceptional spaces in the UK property market.
Responsibilities
• Develop detailed BOQs and procure quotes for the associated work packages.
• Develop and track detailed project budgets and programme.
• Develop and manage relationships with Contractors, Vendors and other key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates reflect project scope and design changes.
• Prepare detailed and accurate construction estimates for assigned projects, considering all material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Develop and implement construction drawings to enhance project value without compromising quality, identifying cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle and identify areas for potential cost savings.
• Maintain high-quality construction standards and compliance with relevant Building Regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor's in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Proven experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Budget management and financial acumen (preferred).
• Familiarity with project management tools (preferred)
