Role: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: AED 5k - 7k per month

STONEHAVEN is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a well-rounded knowledge of both pre- and post-contract works . This role requires expertise in Bill of Quantities (BoQ) preparation in accordance with POMI, NRM, and CESMM . You will play a key role in delivering estimating and quantity surveying services across all project stages within the engineering and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure and price using contract drawings and specifications.
• Manage both pre-contract tasks , including the preparation of tender documents, BoQs, and cost estimates, and post-contract functions , such as handling interim and final payments, variations, and claims.
• Advise on contractual matters, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
• Ensure timely submission and completeness of valuations, along with accurate measurement of work done.
• Prepare and manage variations, day-works, and monitor contract final cost estimates.
• Maintain detailed expenditure records and prepare financial statements for monthly reports.
• Review, negotiate, and prepare claim settlements.
• Coordinate and monitor team activities, ensuring smooth project delivery.
• Perform other relevant duties as needed for the role.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying .
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in large construction and infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding and application of BoQ preparation under POMI, NRM, and CESMM .
• Proven ability to manage both pre-contract and post-contract works effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to communicate clearly and logically with management and staff.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with construction contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
