Job Title : Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management, contract administration, and project control for high-rise, infrastructure, or mixed-use developments.

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the project, ensuring that costs are accurately forecasted, controlled, and aligned with project requirements and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.

Perform feasibility studies and prepare budgets.

Assess the cost implications of design changes and variations.

Draft and review contracts with contractors, suppliers, and clients.

Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations

Handle contract disputes and negotiate terms.

Monitor ongoing project costs and expenditures.

Monitoring project cash flow, cost control, and advising on cost-saving measures.

Conduct cost analysis and prepare reports for stakeholders.

Advise on procurement strategies and best cost-saving practices.

Manage the tendering process and evaluate bids from contractors.

Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) to quantify and specify materials and labor required.

Assess project risks and propose cost-effective solutions

Requirements

Educational Background: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.

Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience, ideally in the UAE.

Experience in High Rise Buildings (e.g., Burj Khalifa, Dubai Marina towers)

Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Primavera, CostX, or other QS-specific software.

Knowledge of FIDIC Contracts: Deep understanding of FIDIC contract forms

UAE's construction laws: Must be aware of UAE's construction laws, regional regulations, and Dubai Municipality requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
