Job Description

• Education and Qualifications:
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications or memberships (e.g., MRICS - Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) could be advantageous.
• Experience:
• Proven experience specifically in fit-out projects within the interior design or construction industry.
• Familiarity with estimating, cost control, and procurement processes related to fit-out works.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software for quantity surveying (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, BIM software).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge:
• In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, tendering processes, and legal requirements related to fit-out projects.
• Understanding of building regulations and standards relevant to interior design and fit-out.
• Responsibilities:
• Preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documents.
• Cost estimation and budget management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Value engineering to optimize costs without compromising quality.
• Contract administration and management of variations.
• Attributes:
• Attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
• Team Collaboration:
• Willingness to collaborate closely with architects, designers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Project Management:
• Experience in project management methodologies and tools, though not always mandatory, can be an advantage.

Those who have proven track record with knowledge of turn key projects and experience of executing Hospitality, Residential Projects will be preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
