Job Description

As a Quantity Surveyor you will play a crucial role in managing costs and ensuring the financial efficiency of our construction projects. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and bids for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate project profitability.
• Monitor project progress and costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Evaluate and manage change orders, variations, and claims related to project costs.
• Perform cost control and cost forecasting activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide advice on cost-effective measures to enhance project profitability.
• Prepare and present detailed reports, budgets, and financial projections to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to construction costs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost management practices.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Construction Industry: 5 years (Preferred)
