Quantity Surveyor**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Quantity Surveyor** to join our team! In this role you will get to perform a variety of standard estimating activities on an assigned project/program.
**What You'll Be Doing** :
+ Attend progress meetings, record minutes, and assist in the preparation of meeting documentation.
+ Provide support on financial and contractual matters throughout the project's duration.
+ Participate in all commercial meetings and contribute to discussions as required.
+ Ensure timely submission and completeness of Contractors' monthly payment applications, assisting in finalizing payment certificates.
+ Maintain and streamline cost and quantity records, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
+ Record and monitor day works, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing.
+ Assist in evaluating and reviewing contractual claims, providing recommendations on entitlement and issuance.
+ Advise on financial and contractual matters, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
+ Ensure all contractual requirements are complete, valid, and well-documented.
+ Monitor the contractor's resource allocation to ensure optimal project performance.
+ Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
+ Participate in the auditing of payments to contractors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contracts.
+ Verify and record measurements of completed work to confirm project progress.
+ Track final cost estimates, ensuring alignment with project budgets.
+ Assist in the review, negotiation, and preparation of claim settlements with the Client's Contracts Department and the Engineer (PMC).
+ Contribute to the preparation of Final Accounts, ensuring all supporting documentation is comprehensive and accurate.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Degree in Quantity Surveying from an accredited internationally recognized university and must be qualified and chartered (QS) by a recognized international body such as Chartered Institute of Buildings (CIOB) and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
+ Post-graduate qualification or Chartered status in Quantity Surveying is a strong advantage.
+ A minimum of 10 years' experience in construction-related quantity surveying, with at least 5 years in surface & ground water networks, utilities, and road construction projects.
+ Experience in Surface Water deep tunnel Boring Works and offshore infrastructure projects.
+ Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, including sewage, drainage, sewerage, and road networks.
+ Expertise in preparing monthly valuations for construction projects.
+ Proven ability to assess and value contractor claims accurately.
+ Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
+ Experience in submitting all SI, VO, and claims to client and assisting with project closeout.
+ Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
+ Proficient in computer skills and software relevant to quantity surveying.
+ Must be registered with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME).
