Quantity Surveyor Civil Engineer
Job Description
• Develop initial designs, conduct site surveys, ensure regulatory compliance, and create structural designs using CAD tools while considering safety, environmental impact, and sustainability
• Oversee construction, manage teams, develop schedules, and ensure the project stays on track within budget and time constraints, while addressing risks and quality control.
• Estimate project costs, prepare budgets, and manage material testing, ensuring structures meet required standards and are made from suitable, durable materials.
• Maintain client relations, provide regular progress reports, collaborate with architects and other professionals, and address concerns or changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct inspections, provide post-construction support, and ensure ongoing infrastructure upkeep and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.
Skilled in managing projects, timelines, and budgets effectively.
Ability to identify challenges and develop practical solutions.
Proficient in communicating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Precision in design and planning, with expertise in tools like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
