We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at [Company Name]. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the costs and financial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and other resources.
• Tendering & Procurement: Assist in the preparation and analysis of tenders, and help select contractors and suppliers.
• Cost Control & Management: Monitor and control project costs to ensure they stay within the approved budget. Provide cost reports and advise on financial performance.
• Contract Administration: Prepare and review contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure that all parties adhere to contractual obligations.
• Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and project outcomes.
• Financial Reporting: Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on the financial status of the project.
• Final Account Settlement: Ensure that all financial aspects of the project are settled upon completion, including handling claims, variations, and disputes.

Key Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, budgeting, cost management , and procurement procedures.
• Membership or eligibility for membership with a professional body (e.g., RICS or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing costs and risks.
