Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a strong background in interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, tender preparation, and project cost control, along with proficiency in modern take-off software and QS tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQs) for interior fit-out projects.
• Quantity Take-Offs: Accurately measure and prepare quantities from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using advanced take-off software.
• Tender and Bid Preparation: Assist in tendering processes, including preparing tender documentation, analyzing quotations, and evaluating subcontractor bids.
• Cost Control and Management: Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare cost reports to ensure budgets are maintained.
• Procurement Assistance: Support the procurement team in obtaining competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Contract Administration: Review contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with project specifications and company standards.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost tracking and efficient project execution.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize QS tools and software for digital take-offs, estimation, and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in QS roles within the interior fit-out industry.
• Proficiency in take-off software such as Planswift, Bluebeam, CostX, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of interior fit-out processes, materials, and construction methods.
• Excellent knowledge of project budgeting, cost estimation, and contract management.
• Familiarity with UAE construction laws and market rates (if applicable).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with project management tools is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AutoCAD and other design tools to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and practices in interior fit-out.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
