As a Quality Control Team Leader at Ecolab Company, you will be responsible for the following:

Lead the daily operations of the quality department, overseeing workflow, establishing priorities, and setting deadlines. Provide leadership for the implementation of quality systems in adherence to ISO17025, ISO9001, NSF, and KIWA standards compliance. Embed and drive a culture of quality standardization and improvement within Supply Chain operations. Lead quality transformation projects, prepare plans, and ensure adherence to milestones until project completion. Handle customer complaints, conduct trend analysis, signal detection, and coordinate product recalls as required. Manage the documentation system through eQMS to ensure effective control of documents and records. Design and periodically review Quality Manuals, Procedures, Work Instructions and Forms, and support Supply Chain departments to design and update SOPs & Processes. Manage the internal audits program and facilitate external audits by customers, regulatory bodies, and certification bodies. Conduct vendor audits & inspections and manage SCARs & improvements of the vendors. Conduct meetings with department heads, managers, vendors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems. Ensure raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and distribution activities are meeting specifications. Place material on hold for quality deficiencies. Produce reports regarding customer complaints, non-conformities, fulfillment of KPIs, or quality trends. Guide the manufacturing team in the batch chemistry adjustment and monitor the operations at the critical points in the production line. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Marketing, Engineering, and R&D in new product localizations. Coach and motivate the Quality team on the analytical testing and the Inspection activities. Inventory management of QC Lab consumables and ensure to order new lab equipment in line with global specifications. Responsible for the QC Lab equipment calibration and preventive maintenance scheduling. Responsible to develop and validate new testing methods, and regularly verify existing test methods functionality. Overall responsibility of external samples' testing and manage contracts with Third Party Labs. Coach the QC team to estimate measurement uncertainty and manage a proficiency testing program. Review statistical studies, technological advances, and trends to stay abreast of issues in the field of QA/QC. Sustain and promote a safe work environment and mentor/coach team members towards a "best in class" high-performance organization. Other duties as per business need.

Position Details: This position is based in Second Industrial City - Dammam

Qualification: Education/Work Experience: Bachelor's degree in applied chemistry or chemical engineering. A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality department, with 7 years specifically in a chemical blending plant or similar industry, and 3 years in a leadership position managing a QA/QC team. Lead Auditor of ISO 9001-2015 and ISO 17025-2017. Knowledge of NSF60 standards and KIWA Standards (preferred). Experience with modern laboratory equipment, test methods verification& validation, inspection activities, and batch chemistry adjustment. Experienced in change management, root cause analysis, risk assessment, problem solving, and NCs investigations. Proficient in SOP design & review, Quality planning & standardization, and GMP/GLP. SAP & eQMS experience (preferred). #li-imea
