Scope & Dimension of the Role

To ensure that the activities carried out by the Businesses in ME Dubai are compliant to all quality requirements as described in the Global QMS, associated policies and local procedures. Participate in the local organisation as a representative of Quality Hygiene and Health.

The individual should have knowledge of the Principles and Guidelines of Quality Business Management and how the principles of GDP maintain product quality throughout the distribution chain.

Commercial Quality Intern is taking responsibility for the below activities:

NPD, EPD release, inspection at DC level as per Local or Regional Release for Sale SOP, Approval of Mock-up samples/Work Instruction as per Local or Regional Embellishment SOP, Supporting Commercial Quality Manager regarding Self-Inspection, 3rd party providers audits, Supporting in creating positive image of Commercial Quality in BU by constant support to other departments in the field of Quality expertise, Executing processes described in Local, Regional and Global SOPs as per BU Quality Handbook, Updating BU KPIs and following actions associated to Global Reporting of BU. Supporting Deviation, Change Control and CAPA management in BU, Delivering objectives settled in Weekly meetings with Commercial Quality Manager.

Competence Required

Results-oriented, entrepreneurial, and self-motivating. Bias for action, capability to define, evaluate and assess different risk levels against Global QMS. Strong motivational and interpersonal skills. Capable of building strong working relationships to deliver outstanding results with or without hierarchical relationships. Commercial understanding of corporate and operational business issues. Ability to transform solid thinking into action (a thinker and an achiever). Good communication skills both written and oral (in English). Strong intellectual curiosity. Appetite for exploring new and previously uncharted territories. Openness to change and the ability to think out of the box. Good presentation skills.
