Job Description

Facilitates, implements, and manages a quality assurance system for the ICU Department at Hospital managed by the company

Conduct surveys and review compliance in line with the policies introduced by Hospital. Recommends the performance of the ICU against documented standards, policies, and procedures.

Participate in best practices aiming to the patient safety and support sustenance of the standards.

Directs, coordinates, and evaluates Hospital ICU program, utilization review program, and risk/safety management program to ensure compliance with the hospital standards and ensure that facility resources and professional and nonprofessional services are utilized efficiently and effectively to provide quality care to all patients.

Keep track of performance and outcomes through monitoring of key indicators. Highlight shortcomings to the team and advice and support implementation of corrective measures. Share outcomes with the medical team through the Clinical Director for continuous education a regular interval.

Support the clinical director and medical team in developing clinical pathways and clinical practice guidelines. Handhold in the analysis of statistics and develop a study for the review by the care team, education and to take further action for correction/ sustenance.

Liaison with the stakeholders responsible for generating information collect, analyze, and support Quality Improvement Projects.

Keeping the team updated on variations from the standard practices may have the potential to harm the patient(s) resulting in communication gaps due to deficiency in documentation.

Designs and implements a system for monitoring, identifying problem's within the ICU, and progressing towards a solution.

Prepares and delivers quality reports on ICU clinical service reviews, audits, and remedial action.

Regular report as required on the KPI's that are to be reported upon regarding the activities in the ICU.

Participates on assigned internal and external committees; chairs and/or leads discussion as requested; prepares status reports and/or develops recommendations on follow up action to be taken; implements approved recommendations for the assigned service.

Facilitate the Kalba Hospital team for resources required from ER to liaison with external accreditation bodies when required.

Established and maintained an effective working relationship and ongoing communications with the medical staff and other department heads.

Ensures company is informed and aware of all significant events and activities in the area(s) of responsibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
