For more information on Hill, please visit our website at General Description of Role and Responsibilities: Reporting to the Project Director, the Quality Manager will have overall responsibility for quality management systems of the Projects assigned. It is expected that the Quality Manager will be a technical leader in the field, fostering proactive positive behaviors. The Quality Manager will also exhibit broader leadership, meaning that he will actively engage with internal and external stakeholders at the highest levels and be recognized as a significant authority for QA/QC matters. Develop QA/QC strategies and plans and prepare QA/QC documentation including flow diagrams, process maps and procedures Act as an internal focal point and subject matter expert for all quality related matters within the assignment. Support the implementation of the relevant standards. Provide insight to clients which they value, to support the improvement of the clients quality culture and enhance the policy. Guided by project director and in conjunction with the staff, shall manage the preparing and maintenance of procedures and manuals covering all the project aspects. Responsible for process improvement for the projects assigned related to project planning, project control, management of communication and risk. Coach and train employees in quality management and control procedures. Support Project Director in Identifying and mitigating project risks. If required, support the use of digitization strategy for project control process software systems and tools. Develop document management system configuration documents and protocols Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill. Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor. Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Post Graduate education such as a MSC is highly desired. At least fifteen years of experience in a similar role; Extensive experience of leading or executing project controls elements is required. Ability to think ahead, identify new opportunities and create new and innovative approaches to work related issues. Candidates should possess strong technical skills in quality and be excellent communicators at all levels. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence senior management and deal with all stakeholders in challenging situations.
