:The Quality Lead will work closely with the Medical Director and Corporate Quality Department to oversee the quality improvement initiatives across all ProVita and Homecare healthcare facilities. This role involves leading the quality teams, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, accreditation, and licensing requirements. The Quality Lead is responsible for developing and implementing quality management strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement in healthcare services. The scope of responsibility encompasses NMC-ProVita Abu Dhabi, Al Ain & NMCR LTCU as well as HomeCare services (Americare, Reaya and Americare Dubai). He/she will have intimate familiarity with the key elements of the Quality, Risk Management and performance improvement plans. The Quality Lead will conduct and co-ordinate quality tasks for conformance to legal and regulatory requirements, DOH requirements, JCI/CARF standards and all contractual obligations, through the organization\'s quality improvement program. They are recognized as a responsible and accountable professional within NMC PIMC.Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise all quality-related activities within healthcare facilities.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director for Clinical Quality to meet regulatory, licensure, and certification requirements.
  • Update and maintain performance indicator metrics.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
  • Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management Plan.
  • Analyze performance data, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs.
  • Select and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with organizational goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify high-priority areas.
  • Facilitate and perform Fact-Finding and/or Root Cause Analysis as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality control regulations.
  • Lead audits and inspections to meet safety and quality standards.
  • Notify regulatory bodies of critical incidents or unsafe conditions after conducting investigations.
  • Keep the Medical Director informed of all quality-related activities.
  • Deputize for the Medical Director in their absence.
  • Assign and evaluate quality control duties to Quality Officers, Coordinators, and department champions.
  • Evaluate performance of assigned staff roles and arrange necessary training.
  • Mentor Quality department staff and frontline staff on quality best practices.
  • Accompany regulatory agency staff during inspections.
  • Follow up on action plans for deficiencies noted during audits.
  • Maintain organizational communication boards and materials.
  • Prepare and submit JAWDA data logs; ensure methodology compliance.
  • Analyze KPI trends and report variances to the Medical Director; organize action plans.
  • Review incident investigations and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  • Participate in budgeting for the quality department.
  • Compile corporate and external quality reports.
  • Review facility documents for compliance with standards and advise other departments as needed.
  • Ensure updated documents are available for external audits.
  • Participate in orientation and training of new staff.
  • Maximize quality and continuity of patient care through multi-disciplinary team input.
  • Act as a role model for quality care provision and reinforce organizational values.
  • Participate in committees, meetings, and teams to improve client care.
  • Participate in education and evaluation of new products, equipment, and technology.
  • Organize, coordinate, and participate in Quality Improvement and awareness activities.
  • Exercise good time management skills and adapt quickly to change.
  • Provide constructive feedback, set ethical standards, and foster positivity and encouragement.
  • Act as a department liaison and consultant for integrating Quality activities within the facility.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited program in healthcare or a related field; advanced degree preferable.
  • Certification in Quality Management.
  • Current valid registration in country of training and/or last employment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
