Job Summary.

To performs assessment, documentation and organizational tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's and supply chain, Responsible for all QA/QC related activities in the threading facility. Inspection of RSC and OCTG connections such as; (GP, API, TENARIES, JFE, etc.) Able to interpret engineering drawing & specification to API, OCTG, Grant Prideco, DS1, VAM, JFE etc. able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform inspection as required on machined/finished parts.
• Responsible for acceptance or rejection of machined/finished parts.
• Assist machinists on technical issues.
• Be familiar with required standards/procedures and specifications pertaining to quality and the quality program.
• Responsible for care, use, and protection of all company equipment. Know, understand, and follow all company and
• department safety rules.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform job duties accurately and responsible. Verify part and work order. Assist shop, assembly and personal in
• determining causes for faulty material or assemblies. Assist in everyday department operations including training of other
• employees as deemed necessary by supervisors.
• Process paperwork.
• Report all unsafe and or hazardous acts or conditions to Manager.
• Review Work Orders/Specifications for each order received.
• Maintain equipment and records.
• Report any damaged or misused equipment, including but not limited to gauges, fixtures, and instruments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist with training when required
• May require off-site duties.
Follow all the Company HSEMS, QMS, policies and procedures

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

Essential:

• Must have a minimum 2-year experience in Rotatory Shoulder Connections inspection (API, Grant Prideco, Tenaris etc) on Drill pipe, HWDP, Drill Collars and Drill Stem Components,or a similar background.
• High school education or equivalent.
Must be able to communicate in English and able to take and follow written and verbal instructions.

Desirable:

• Have good machine shop knowledge. Be able to read and interpret specifications to API, Grant Prideco, DS1, VAM etc
• Have an understanding of API + Audits
