The Quality Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and patient safety programs in the clinic. The role involves monitoring compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating clinic policies and procedures.
Conduct internal audits and quality checks to identify areas for improvement.
Support in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports.
Patient Safety & Risk Management:
Monitor and report
patient safety incidents, adverse events, and complaints
to ensure timely resolution.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) based on risk assessments.
Promote a culture of safety by conducting
staff training and awareness programs
on quality and safety protocols.
Performance Improvement:
Collect, analyze, and report quality indicators and key performance metrics.
Assist in implementing
quality improvement projects (QIPs)
to enhance patient care and service efficiency.
Facilitate
root cause analysis (RCA)
and
failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
for process improvement.
Staff Training & Education:
Organize training programs on
infection control, patient safety, and quality standards
.
Ensure clinical and administrative staff adhere to best practices in quality management.
Collaborate with department heads to conduct competency assessments.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality initiatives and compliance reports.
Prepare quality performance dashboards and presentations for management.
Assist in coordinating external audits and accreditation surveys.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, nursing, quality management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum
2-3 years
of experience in quality management within a healthcare setting, preferably in Abu Dhabi.
Certifications (Preferred):
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (
CPHQ
)
DOH-approved
Healthcare Quality Training Program
Knowledge of
JCI, HAAD/DOH, and ISO standards
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of
healthcare quality and patient safety principles
.
Excellent
analytical and problem-solving skills
.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
and data analysis tools.
Ability to
train and educate staff
on quality-related matters.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
