Job Description

The quality controller is responsible for evaluating and ensuring the quality and performance of vehicles after service or repair.

• To carry out pre diagnosis steps to ensure customer complaints are clearly identified prior to the vehicle entering the workshop.
• Carry out daily quality control testing as per company guidelines to ensure all performed work is to the highest standard.
• Perform detailed road tests on vehicles after service or repair to assess performance, safety and reliability.
• Identify and diagnose any issue during the test drive and provide detailed report.
• To ensure all relevant technical trends are communicated to the Workshop Manager for processing.
• To assist the relevant team members with hands on technical assistance and advice.
• To inform the Workshop Manager of any highly technical faults that may need assistance to repair.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of repair and service performed by the technician.
• Ensure vehicles meet all the quality and safety standards before they are returned to customers.
• On occasions will be required to attend outside technical assistance to customers.
• Submit a detailed weekly quality control report to the workshop manager to identify possible trends and training requirements.
• Document test result, findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
• Prepare reports on vehicle performance and quality issues for review.
• Ensure all the testing procedures comply with company policies and standard as well as industry regulations.
• To monitor return work and identify possible trends with repairs and employees.
• Identify department training needs and coordinate with the workshop manager to implement individual training plans for each employee inclusive of a department training record.
• To ensure the department SOP are always adhered to

Qualification and Experience

• A Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar field
• Qualified Diagnostic Technician or equivalent
• Automobile related diploma/certificate
• Strong Mechanical / Electrical knowledge
• Possess a valid UAE driving license

Pay: AED1\.00 - AED2\.00 per month
