Job Summary:
The Quality Control Executive is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of, and adherence to, quality control initiatives and programs designed to ensure the attainment of company product standards.
Ensure that safety and quality control issues of the production are carried out perfectly by following industry standards.
Develops and analyses statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and supervise the QC team and co-ordinate resources to meet production requirements.
• Allocate, organise and make necessary alterations to the teams in order to achieve smooth and efficient running of the shift
• Plan and organise the availability of resources on a weekly basis to enable efficient running of the shift.
• Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability
• Support and encourage team members in their performance and the achievement of their tasks to the necessary company standards
• Monitor and take actions throughout the shift to ensure all standards are met and company procedures are complied with.
• Supervise the Hygiene team to ensure that all cleaning activities are being conducted according to set standards
• Ensure all procedures are complied with by staff, including cleaning regimes, illness reporting etc
• Ensure lab testing procedures are correctly written and easy to follow.
• Administer and control all quality parameters required to ensure Customer satisfaction
Requirements:
• Experience:
• At least 2-3 years of experience in quality control or fragrance testing within the fragrance, cosmetics, or similar industries.
• Knowledge of fragrance creation, formulation, and the fragrance industry is a plus.
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Science _Chemistry_ and five to ten years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing, production, quality processes and testing tools and standards.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and sensory analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in laboratory equipment and tools for testing fragrance products.
• Personal Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong sensory capabilities and a well-developed sense of smell.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
