As well, we are faster and more flexible in meeting customer requirements.Job Summary:Quality Controller: The Quality Controller maintains quality standards of Halcon by inspecting and releasing in-process production and finished products, analysing the results, highlighting issues and recommending corrective actions. This job involves tasks such as running tests, keeping a record of defects, analysing products, and overseeing procedures for compliance with product specifications, legal, HSE and other applicable requirements.Key Accountabilities:
Contribute in designing an efficient quality protocol which can be used across all domains.
Approve the production processes by confirming specifications and conducting visual, measurement and functional tests.
Monitor the production phase at various levels to ensure they meet the approved systems, communicating any required changes or adjustments to the to the assembly or production process in consulting with the line manager/ supervisor.
Inspect, test, or measure materials using gauges, callipers, and micrometres, as well as operating electronic inspection equipment to ensure that all necessary procedures and products are inspected to a high standard.
Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications from the point of use or return products for re-work if needed and keep the tracking records.
Maintain detailed records of the testing, relevant additional information, and various metrics inputting data into quality database.
Analyse reports to highlight issues, detail the number of defective products being produced, and explain where improvements can be made.
Ensure on time processing of non-conforming components.
Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product.
Maintain compliance by ensuring that production areas adhere to health and safety regulations, and check that all manufactured products or parts meet the necessary production standards
Upkeep and maintain the quality equipment by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and calling for repairs; ensure they ae safe to operate at all times
Train the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
Enforce safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
Experience & Education Qualifications:Expertise:Minimum: 5+ years of experience in Quality Control inspectionsPreferred:2-3 years of experience in Defence industry with regional exposure.Minimum Qualification:Minimum: : High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred:Bachelor\'s degree or Certification in quality control / quality inspection, quality auditing (ISO 9001 etc.), process analysis, and reliability / Certified in Six Sigma Green Belt#HALCON
